Tracy Viola’s Journey to Amazon Best Seller: How We Helped Her Build a Social Media PresenceTop 25 Folk Albums of 2022

OBJECTIVE: The objective was to work closely with Tracy Viola to understand who she is as a sober woman, wife, mother, holder of not one but 2 master’s degrees,  and now successful self published author. With no social media presence - Tracy felt this was an opportunity to showcase not only the story of her sobriety journey, but the life she lives today as a result of her remarkable 28 years of sobriety. With an innate understanding of her community, Tracy wanted to convey the raw, yet triumphant challenges, lessons and teachable moments that affected not only her sobriety, but aided in the sobriety of others. Her future goal is to be a motivational speaker - who uses emotional intelligence, and humor that makes her relatable, and approachable.

STRATEGY:

We divided it into stages. Initially - Tracy hired Moxi for two months… but after seeing the results, she signed on for another 4.

  • Phase 1 - Month one was for for creating a presence with engaging content showcasing Tracy’s personality while teasing the book.We utilized growth campaigns on instagram starting in phase 2 once we felt the foundation of the account was pronounced and well thought out.

  • Phase 2 - months 2 and 3 we started getting specific with stories from the book using reels, trends and photos with heartfelt copy.

  • Phase 3 - Months 4- 6 pre-release strategy, book release itself , follow up marketing and promotion

RESULTS:

Between Pre-save/presale on March 1st - and book release on April 9th - the push for Pretty Wrecked was non stop.

Working closely with her publicist - and celebrating the myriad press and media coverage she received - the book after 6 weeks was an amazon best seller in her genre, as well as a best new release in her genre. With over 40 five star reviews on Amazon - this book is both provoking, raw, and triumphant.

From incredible reviews in press and media outlets from Publishers weekly/Book Life - to headlining stories in Savvy Main Line, Temple University, and Villanova, and a successful appearance on NBC ’s Philly Live.

Tracy’s message is resonating and being well received. Recovery IS possible. Tracy and Natalie have created a safe space where her vulnerability and humor invites others to share their stories and celebrate the possibilities of sober living.

Her social presence and outreach connected her with many in her community also thriving in sobriety, with elevated followings and future collaborations and podcasts and readings all in the works.
